In Light Of UN Climate Change Study, How One Colorado Company Helps The Earth
Catastrophe is looming. That was the grim bottom line from the United Nations study on climate change released Monday.
If global warming rises by 1.5 degrees Celsius, (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) it would result in a “rapid and far-reaching” transformation of human civilization, according to the report. And that could happen by 2030.
But as the temperatures rise and natural disasters increase, there are organizations and companies working to counteract the greenhouse gas emissions. Hunter Lovins, president and founder of Natural Capitalism Solutions and president of Colorado Carbon Fund, talked to Colorado Matters about her work.
