A project of NCS, COPx is a global citizen’s movement to solve the climate crisis by empowering people everywhere to implement climate solutions on their own, in their own communities, in their own ways. COPx means Conferences of People, Independently Organized. It is the complement to the top-down UN Conference of Parties that has failed for 30 years to bring climate safety to our world.

Created by people from around the world, COPx will help you to act in your own community. The needed solutions are well known: the various forms of renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, energy efficiency, local self-reliance…all the approaches that cut energy use, and replace fossil energy better, faster, cheaper.

It can be as simple as organizing a local car pool, or as ambitious as convincing local politicians to shut down the biggest polluter in your area. No project is too small. Or too big. What matters is your decision to take action.

COPx will connect you with others around the world doing similar things. It will inspire you, offer projects you may want to try, and describe what others have achieved. It will give you the know-how. Even if you have never acted before, COPx will empower you.
